Another Very Successful Marching Festival for the Bulldog Band

They received great comments from the judges and were awarded best in class in the Centennial Marching Contest in Frisco this past Saturday, 11/1.
As best in Class IV, the McKinney North Band performed a second time in exhibition. This makes the first time in MNHS history that the band has advanced to perform a second time at each festival we attended this year!
This past Saturday was the final full performance of the McKinney North Band. This Thursday, we will be honoring the seniors in our final halftime performance. Thanks for a great season.

Cheer on the Band at UIL
Submitted by Suzi Vega on Fri, 2008-10-17 07:56.Join us in cheering on the Band this Saturday at UIL competition. They will be performing at Clark Stadium in Plano, TX. A link for directions to Clark Stadium is on the left side of this page under Online Resources. Their performance time is 7:30pm.
Clark Stadium is West of 75 off of Spring Creek Parkway. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens.

Submitted by Gary Taylor on Mon, 2008-10-13 10:10.After a very exhausting day at the Little Elm Marching Classic on the Lake, the McKinney North Band received high marks from the judges and was awarded 4 caption awards in our class including - Outstanding Music, Outstanding Marching, Outstanding General Effect, and Outstanding Color Guard.
Congrats to Mr. Myers and the Percussion section - they received the 2nd place trophy and a $200 cash prize from ProMark Drum Sticks!
The McKinney North Band advanced to finals competition, placing 10th overall competing against all classes and some of the best band programs in the state including schools from Frisco, Lewisville, Mansfield, and Rowlett.
Catch the McKinney North Band in their next performance at the UIL Marching Contest at Clark Stadium in Plano this Saturday, October 18th, in their performance at 7:30pm.
